Cowboy Artists Of America Annual Show
Well, the 58th Annual Cowboy Artists of America Show will be held in Ft. Worth on Nov 1-2, 2024 and all of the CAA artists, collectors and friends are expecting a big turnout and a great show! Ft. Worth is solidly the new home for CAA, and everyone couldn’t be happier. Michael received the Ray Swanson Memorial Award last year …….He will have 7 more new paintings to showcase in 2024 (go to the “Western - Available” tab on the home page to find the images)as well as a small B & W drawing. Prix De West
The 2024 Prix De West 2023 show at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City is probably the largest and most prestigious Western Art Show in the country. 2024 will be it’s 52nd year, and it promises to be a banner year! This will be the tenth year that Michael Has been in the show and he will have a full compliment of paintings, so put it on your calendar!

2 Man Show "The Living Canvas - Blackshear and Dudash"
2 Longtime friends, Thomas Blackshear and C Michael Dudash will be having a show at The Legacy Gallery on Canyon Rd, Santa Fe, NM on Sept 15, 2023. Michael and Thomas will be on hand to showcase a number of new works. Michael says, “Thomas and I have been close friends and mutual admirers of each others work for decades. We both jumped at the chance to finally do a show together!”. Michael will have 11 paintings at the show….Hope to see many of you there!

The Scottsdale Art Auction 2022
After having a successful sale in 2021, Michael will have a new major work in the annual Scottsdale Art Auction that will be held on April 14th-15th, 2023. Look for the painting to be posted in February/March on the auction site (as well as this site). Michael hopes to be in attendance in Scottsdale this year as well, so hope to see you there!

Unfortunately the Museum cancelled again in 2021 as there were still attendance restrictions in place due to Covid-19. The 2022 event should be back in full swing - more details to come in the future, so stay tuned!

Scottsdale Museum Of the West "The Gathering" Cowboy Artists of America Small Works Show
The Cowboy Artists of America will again have an in person small works show at the Scottsdale Museum of the West at 3830 N. Marshall Way, Scottsdale, AZ after a break of two years due to the Covid pandemic. It will begin on Wednesday with demonstrations at the Museum and at the nearby Scottsdale Artists School by members of CAA, culminating with the sale on Thursday evening. More information will be forthcoming in the weeks and months ahead!
